When batting the opposition choose which batswoman bats again in the last pair. If a team only have 7 then they can only use 7 when fielding.

Team captains will be responsible for coin or bat toss and deciding to bat or bowl.

Two umpires and one scorer per pitch required.Games will be played on the artificial or grass wicket.One club will host all the fixtures with 3 teams at a venue, 3 games played in an evening (all teams playing two fixtures).All players eligible including women's National Team squad players. The timing of the festivals this year will allow the women's soft ball league teams to get some practice in before the start of the season. The soft ball cricket festivals are all about getting together to enjoy the game and are a great way to try the game for the first time. The women and girl's soft ball cricket festivals will be taking place in 2023 prior to the start of the women's soft ball cricket league beginning on June 12th May.
